Description

A delicious taco dip that is perfect for parties and gatherings. Serve it with chips for a tasty treat!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 2 Tbsp Taco Seasoning (Divided or 1 packet)
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Salsa
  • 16 oz Sour Cream
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 2 cups shredded Iceberg Lettuce
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 2 medium Tomatoes (diced)
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Olives

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium high heat. Drain off the excess grease.
  2. Then stir in 1 Tbsp of the taco seasoning (or 1/2 a packet), the salsa, and water into the heat. Cook uncovered for 2-4 minutes.
  3. In a separate large bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sour cream, and the remaining taco seasoning with a hand held mixer.
  4. Then spread the cream cheese mixture in the bottom of an 8X8 or 9X9 pan.
  5. Top with the ground beef, shredded lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and sliced olives.
  6. Serve with chips and enjoy!

  • Feel free to customize by adding your favorite toppings.
  • This dip can be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
