- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces

- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 12 ounces penne pasta
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil and butter in a large deep skillet or Dutch oven over medium heat.
- Add the chicken, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning, then cook until the chicken is lightly golden and nearly cooked through.
- Stir in the garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, just until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, then stir well to combine.
- Add the penne pasta and make sure it is mostly submerged in the liquid.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, then reduce the heat to medium-low.
- Cook the pasta for 12 to 15 minutes, stirring often, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid has reduced.
- Turn the heat to low and stir in the Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese until melted and smooth.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve hot.

- For a healthier option, you can substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
