- 12 oz fresh mushroom-filled ravioli
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 8 oz cremini mushrooms, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare your ingredients by chopping the mushrooms and garlic while boiling salted water in a large pot.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté chopped mushrooms until golden brown. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently to combine. Let it simmer while you cook the ravioli.
- Cook the ravioli in boiling water according to package instructions (about 3-4 minutes) until they float.
- Drain the ravioli, reserving some pasta water, then add them to the skillet with the sauce. Toss gently until coated, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and garnish with fresh basil before serving.
