Description

This creamy mushroom-filled ravioli dish is a delightful and quick meal perfect for any night of the week.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz fresh mushroom-filled ravioli
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz cremini mushrooms, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by chopping the mushrooms and garlic while boiling salted water in a large pot.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté chopped mushrooms until golden brown. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently to combine. Let it simmer while you cook the ravioli.
  4. Cook the ravioli in boiling water according to package instructions (about 3-4 minutes) until they float.
  5. Drain the ravioli, reserving some pasta water, then add them to the skillet with the sauce. Toss gently until coated, adding reserved pasta water as needed.
  6. Remove from heat, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use fresh ravioli from a local store or homemade for the best flavor.
