Description

Delicious cookies made with chocolate and marshmallows, perfect for dessert or a sweet treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 cups of all-purpose flour, ½ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and ½ teaspoon of salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together ½ cup of softened unsalted butter, ½ cup of granulated sugar, and ½ cup of brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Beat in 1 large egg and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to over-mix!
  6. Gently stir in 1 cup of mini chocolate chips and 1 cup of mini marshmallows, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  7. Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each cookie.
  8. Place the baking sheets in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set but the centers still look slightly soft.
  9. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on the sheets for about 5 minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

  • Cookies may stay soft for a few minutes after removing from the oven, so handle carefully.
  • For added texture, consider adding nuts if desired.
