Delicious homemade pumpkin donuts coated in cinnamon sugar.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree (canned or homemade)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- For coating: 1/4 cup granulated sugar mixed with 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, salt, and sugars until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix pumpkin puree, eggs, and vegetable oil until smooth.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and fold gently until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into the donut pan, filling each mold about three-quarters full.
- Bake for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before tossing in cinnamon sugar coating.
Notes
- Make sure not to over-mix the batter to keep the donuts light and fluffy.
- These can be stored in an airtight container for a few days.
