Description

Delicious honey lemon pepper chicken wings that are crispy and coated in a flavorful sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs (900 g) chicken wings, split and tips removed
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ⅓ cup honey
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 1½ tsp cracked black pepper
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  2. Pat wings dry. Toss with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Arrange wings in a single layer and bake for 40–45 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy and golden. (Air Fryer option: 380°F / 190°C for 20–22 minutes, shaking halfway.)
  4. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in honey, lemon juice, lemon zest, cracked pepper, garlic powder, and salt. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  5. Toss hot wings in the honey lemon pepper sauce until fully coated.
  6. Serve immediately while sticky and hot.
