Description

Delicious, chewy Rice Krispies treats with a hint of spice and optional white chocolate drizzle.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 10 oz (about 40) marshmallows
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • ½ tsp ground nutmeg
  • ½ tsp ground cloves
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: white chocolate or icing for drizzling

Instructions

  1. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
  2. In a large saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Add marshmallows and stir until smooth and fully melted.
  3. Stir in ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
  4. Remove from heat and fold in Rice Krispies cereal until fully coated.
  5. Transfer mixture to prepared pan. Use a buttered spatula or parchment paper to press evenly.
  6. Let cool for 30 minutes. Cut into squares.
  7. Drizzle with melted white chocolate or decorate with icing for a festive touch.
