Description

A refreshing juice made from Indian gooseberries.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 amla (Indian gooseberry)
  • 1 teaspoon chopped ginger
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon black salt

Instructions

  1. Cut amla into small pieces and discard the seeds.
  2. Add the chopped amla, ginger, water, and black salt into the medium jar of a blender and blend until smooth.
  3. Pass the mixture through a fine-mesh strainer and discard the pulp. Press the pulp with the back of a spoon to get as much juice as possible.
  4. Amla juice is ready to drink. Pour it in small shot glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a sweeter taste, you can add honey or sugar according to your preference.
  • Amla juice is packed with vitamin C and other antioxidants.
